Dee Langevin, MPSA2, is an avid photographer living in Townsend, DE. Dee became a serious photographer when she retired as an analytical chemist in 2006 and bought her first DSLR. Her passion for photography quickly developed and she has traveled all over the US and to Canada, Mexico, Iceland, Europe, South America and Antarctica in pursuit of elusive wildlife and wonderful photo opportunities. Dee’s favorite subject is Nature and Wildlife photography, but she captures landscapes, macro, travel, PJ and creative images as well.
Dee joined PSA in 2009 and has earned hundreds of medals and awards in PSA recognized exhibitions and has served as a judge in many international competitions. Her photos have been exhibited at Longwood Gardens, The Biggs Museum, the Delaware Museum of Natural History, the Dupont Environmental Education Center, the Audubon Discovery Center and the Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art. Her images have been printed in a number of local, national and international publications.
Dee has been a member of the Delaware Photographic Society since 2008, where she has served as Mentor, Recording Secretary, Chair of the Standards Committee and Chair of the Wilmington International Exhibition of Photography. She has won honors in club competition each year since she joined the club.
